Our service will help you to find out about car body processing. Received information will include: type of processing, galvanizing method and it's description, car body condition for each model.
Steel protection from corrosion
If the galvanized car body is damaged, corrosion destroys the zinc, not the steel.
The zinc coating, being less noble than iron, tends to corrode selectively. Dissolution of this coating leaves behing electrons which concentrate in the iron, making it cathodic and thus inhibiting its dissolution.
Types of processing
•
Full-body — the car body is fully processed, including hidden and hard-to-reach cavities.
•
Partial — all nodal points and most vulnerable parts of the car body, thresholds, bottom, bottom of the doors are processed.
•
Nodal points processing — includes only processing of welding places, fasteners, stamping and other small parts.
Over years the processing is changed. The younger car the better it's galvanized!
